Welcome to Partners In Aid

We work in assisting disadvantaged communities mainly in the Indian subcontinent to have a better life, through community development, education, skills training and enhancing the status of women.

Partners In Aid is one of the longest serving aid agencies in Australia. Established in 1962, we work with local Non-Government Organisations (NGO's) in Bangladesh and India to promote and assist with community development projects. Projects include education, micro-credit, health and vocational and skill training programs in Bangladesh and school programs, child sponsorship, women's self-help groups and watershed management in India.

In the Philippines, Partners in Aid supports the Sinangpad Healthy Village Project in Kalinga Province (northern Philippines).

Partners in Aid works with Symbiosis in Bangladesh. Right now, Symbiosis are undertaking the Great Aussie Rickshaw Ride, from Queensland to Tasmania. You can read all about it at this link.

  Mission Statement

*To undertake local community and economic development projects directed at improving the standard of living in developing countries through long-term, sustainable approaches; and

*To provide an opportunity for donors who wish to sponsor a child in a developing country to do so in a way that provides some direct assistance to the most disadvantaged, but also facilitates development in the community as a whole.
